In regard to the Marriage Service, I would usually arrange a meeting with the couple concerned, after arranging a date, they would have to attend the Registry Office and bring me the licence so we could proceed. The actua ceremony is tailored to suit the couple and can include songs, readings, talks, anything really that isn't offensive!
