Philosophy & Demonstration of Mediumship.

The Service starts at 7pm sharp and finishes at about 8.15pm

There are different speakers every week with a good level of Philosophy and Mediumship. This is your time to be with your loved ones in Spirit and be reunited for a little while away from the demands of this life. A collection is taken and light refreshments served after the Service. You never know, you might just get that message you have waited for for so long from a loved one in the Spirit World. To avoid interruption of the service, the gates will be locked at 7.10pm, so it is important that you arrive in good time.

Followed by – Open Circle 9:00 PM

Although not technically a development circle, you can practice your meditation, philosophy, mediumship and/or psychic abilities within the support and encouragement of like-minded  people. This is a great way of helping you on to the next step, whether that is the our Basic Awareness Course, Meditation & Progressive Awareness Group or Closed Development Circle. All we ask is for a donation of £1.00

Thursday Evenings

Healing Service. Starts 7.15pm

There is a short service followed by Spiritual Hands-on Healing. You may leave as soon as you have had your healing or please feel free to stay after all the healing is finished for refreshments. There is no charge for healing but a collection is taken. Tea/Coffee & biscuits 40p. We ask for silence during the healing and if you do not require healing, but just wish to come and sit in the silence, you are most welcome. When fine, you may also like to take the opportunity to sit and reflect in our garden.

Every Monday

Progressive Awareness 10:30 AM

Awareness starts with the assumption that everyone is a spirit entity in a physical body rather than the other way round.  Each one of us has the ability to communicate with the Spirit world in one way or another and this Course seeks to develop these latent abilities.

Topics covered include Mediumship, Psychic and Spiritual Awareness, Healing, Auras and a whole host of related topics.  Participants learn meditation which, in itself, is beneficial for the body as it slows heart rate and lowers stress levels.

As with any course there is a level of commitment needed but the rewards are well worth the effort.

Progressive Awareness – Closed Circle 7:30 PM

By invitation only.

The Circle usually decides the topic of the evening.  Just recently we have been having great success with table turning.  Messages have been on the whole very accurate and some interesting results are being obtained.

A charge is made for these classes but in return you do get a decent cup of Betty’s tea and all the biscuits you can eat….(we have a very good reputation for our biscuits!)

Special Evenings of Mediumship

Each Month. Usually on Tuesday Evenings.
Doors open at 6.45pm for a 7.30pm start.

Light refreshments are included at the end of the evening (usually finishes about 9.00pm approx.) Please see Events for details. We usually advertise in the Chesterfield Advertiser the week previous to the event, under the ‘What’s On’ section.

The cost is £4.00 members and £5.00 visitors. (payable on the door).

Education

Courses run throughout the year on a Wednesday evening. They are usually in blocks of about six weeks. They cover many subjects related to mediumship, healing, psychic ability, altered states of consciousness, crystals, sound healing, colour, dowsing etc. Look out for the adverts in the Chesterfield Advertiser. There is a £10 enrolment fee and a weekly subscription of £5. This includes handouts and refreshments.  If you carry on and enrol on the following course you are exempt from paying the enrolment fee. It’s a good deal!!

On Saturday 25 July we are holding a workshop entitled Healing with Sound.  The class will start at 10.30 and will  be led by Linda Davies Holmes. The cost is £10.
